Another Dull Day

It’s another boring day here at work. Calls are coming in, but they are not even frustrating today, they are just really boring to deal with. The good news is that I have done some good research on Hawaii, and there may be more places to stay, and the camping may be easier to do then I thought. I even found the place to download the registration forms for getting a marriage license. It is $60 to tie the knot, plus however much you pay the person to marry you.

In other news, the Trimaris champion’s tournament is this weekend, and I have started getting my armor in better shape. I made a gorget, started painting my shield, hammered out the bent corner, going to fix my chest armor straps, and my leg armor straps, and shine my helm. I hear it is going to be a bear pit, and I really really hate those. I would rather much have a double elimination. It’s going to be in the heat of the day, so it makes it that much worse. I just hope to do my Phoenix proud.

Fun Weekend!

Well, this weekend was a blast!

We started this weekend by going to the Florida Aquarium, which was an absolute blast. Not as big of an aquarium as I had hoped, but quite impressive none the less. They have a nice aviary/rainforest, an ok shark tank, a very impressive reef tank, and a lot of other cool stuff. Most of the pictures I took were off focus or washed out (using a different camera). After the Aquarium, we stopped by “the sunken gardens” and although it was fairly nice, Lu Gardens here in Orlando kicks its butt.

Sunday, after cleaning the bird cages, we went to Martins for some fighting…

Ok…

I am now convinced that our media in this country really stinks.

Phoenix and I watched the presidential debate last night, and thinking about what I saw and heard, I noticed that it had very little to do with what the media had to say about it. For either side!

I felt that this debate was our presidents to lose, and he did. I think that Kerry did moderately well. I think what really failed it for Bush was that when he was confused, or didn’t have a good answer, he fell on his flip flop argument.

But anyway, I get to fight tonight! Woo hoo!
