Went to practice yesterday, and was highly disappointed in the fact that we did not fight. But we did talk about what we were going to do for Gulf Wars both camp wise and fighting wise. It looks like we will have about a 10 man unit or so, and about 25 people camping. Does anyone know where to buy a 20x30 tent for under $1400? Also anyone have a good SCA Ballista pattern?

Are you looking only at period or period-appearing tents only? If not, Sam's has those 10X30 portable garages for two hundred bucks. I'm sure that reasonably talented tenting engineers (read: SCAdians) could figure out how to make two of them work together.

Ya, we are looking for somthing reasonably period... It can be Vinyl, but it needs to look good. We actually have about 4 of those 10x20's that we put together now, but they look bad. We want somthing that we dont have to make (we discussed that option, and although it would cost a lot less, ie we could get canvas for a 20x 30 for about $350, we decieded that in making our first pavillion as a household, it would be more moot to have somthing that was professionally done that would last for years, instead of the chance that it would fall apart in a year or two)
